Why not Latex 24/7?
While I have often fantasized about wearing rubber all day every day, and while we do wear it so much sometimes it feels like we do already, I personally don’t think I could live in rubber 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Here are a list of things to take into consideration that helped me come to this conclusion:
1) First and foremost would be the condition of your skin. While I have been known to wear quite a bit of rubber for extended periods of time, my skin can get pretty irritated from it. This is mostly from my skin’s inability to breath as well as the constriction of the latex. I am fairly certain wearing latex 24/7 would be devastating on your skin. Also I have heard that if you wear latex too often you can develop an allergy to it over time. That would be my nightmare 0_o
2) Latex is a very temperamental material that can tear quite easily. There would be a lot of repairs, even more than we already do if we wore it everyday. We already have 3 black catsuits each just because one is always broken.
3) While I do like how latex accentuates my body and makes me look and feel more sexually enticing, I don’t think I would want that attention all the time. It is fun to go out and turn heads some times, but other times I just want to run errands and get things done without people stopping me to ask me what I’m wearing. Also we do maintain some vanilla friends and family that we do not particularly feel like showing our kinky side to.
4) If I wore it everyday I think it would loose some of its luster for me. I personally enjoy when it has been a few busy days and we finally have a night to dress up and play; this makes it more exciting for me. Keeps it special :)
5) Humans are complex beings and we all have various interests and facets to our personalities, but not one thing entirely defines who or what we are. That is also how I feel about my rubber fetish, while it is an important part of who I am there are many other things I like to do that don’t involve rubber or fetish. People might think I was a pretty boring person if it was all I did.
Oh and one more, I am a shopaholic and not being able to also spend my money on regular clothes would just be a way to deny me shopping privileges! :)
Don’t get me wrong, I do love my latex dearly, and it is a very big part of my life, I just don’t think I could wear it all the time everyday. Kudos to all of the people who do live in rubber everyday! But 2 or 3 times a week is enough for me :)
